Means grapes (specifically, the red variety). Grapes in Morocco have seeds in the middle. When you picture the Romans feeding each other grapes straight off the vine, do you then imagine them spitting out seeds? Would they do so elegantly? Sheepishly? Vigorously, like a little league baseball player in a shell-spitting distance competition? Because the grapes the Romans ate had seeds. Interestingly enough, my host mom says that there are, in fact, grapes in Morocco that don’t have seeds. I imagine one buys them at the Carrefour or Marjane. Certainly [...]

So, I am pretty much back to my normal life. I am sleeping in pretty much every single day (not the best habit to get into before school starts). I am cooking stuff that I am used to eating, and most of all, I am living with people who can understand what I am speaking. (I’m also thankful for the working shower).
